Crack Lap Dance to Decay
Our culture is reflecting nothing new when it comes to addictions and the power they hold over individuals. But it is still a prevalent social problem that plague's our societies and people of all ages.
Kayra, a Typical Substance Abuser and Her trails of Deception and Ruin
Kayra was brought up in a rural home, and had substance abusive parents. Her home life as not horrible, but lack perhaps, a certain discipline or urgency to progress and become at par, scholastically and socially. Instead, she was kicked out of her home at an early age of 16 and was forced to go on social services and acquire her own apartment. During this time, she grew up very fast in an area, where a girl of that age is vulnerable because of the lack of real-world experience. And of course, she was led astray by different young and older men, who provided her a serious, hard knock education.
Kayra does not consider herself a prostitute, now, in her late thirties, but is in a constant wheel and deal mode, to acquire street level drugs to support her admitted addiction to crack cocaine. Does this mean she does not sleep with men to get money, or the drug itself, to stay high? No, it just means she remains open to the option, if all else fails, developing possibly, a few but loyal clients who will contact her for her “brand of friendship” which usually involves a friendly intimate attachment, with minimal or no sex, depending on the mark and what they will put up with for the money she will consistently draw from them, in the guise of affectionate reciprocation.
What would be a normal day for Kayra, would burn most people out from sheer exhaustion. In some instances, she would be outside, sleeping near or behind dumpsters, possibly accompanied with other substance abusers and homeless people. Most of her day, can be consumed with heavy shoplifting and visits to the local pawn dealers, acquiring money for her fixes, and, if all goes well, will not have to do anything else but sit in her room or trap house of her choice, and remain high. Is Kayra homeless? No, she has a place with her family where she can sleep and reside, and possibly sit and remain high when no one else is around. She will have minimal access perhaps, to one room, and because of the guilt felt by her parents, from tossing her out at the tender age of 16, will withstand her antics to a degree.
Her habitual requires consistent cash flow, and, as soon as she sees a potential supporter out there, in the working world, she will, like an eagle approaching its prey, swoop down and talon his attention. If she plays it just right, he will usually respond in the desired manner for her to confidently make contact. These men are recruited for a monetary bases to support her habitual. In other words, a relationship of sorts, but in actuality, a shell of pretentious amorousness. Because she needs more then one active contact at any given time for this to work to her favor and provide her with the money to purchase her desired addictive drug, in this case, crack cocaine and possibly some meth, she will juggle multiple contacts for this purpose.
This could not be called a “sugar daddy-sugar baby” relationship, because that sort of relationship would require a certain degree of loyalty, availability, and consistent sexual activity, something, due to the nature of someone addicted to crack cocaine, cannot be available nor reliable enough to keep that sort of relationship fluent. Rather, this relationship only requires the cat and mouse analogy, where the man, could be older or young, fluent in cash, is chasing, providing her monetary favors, like rides, and money, for her to acquire the drugs she needs to satisfy her addiction.
During the honeymoon period, with a girl like this, she will be intimate with the man at least one or two times, possibly 3, but rarely, and will constantly ask for money, a little here, and bit there, just enough for her to keep herself high enough to remain in his company most of the time, being close and affectionate.
After the honeymoon period which may last 1 to 3 weeks, she will still consistently ask for money, more aggressively and higher quantities, now providing minimal affection, and usually no sexual contact what so ever. If the man attempts to be intimate with her, Kayra may say things like, “I feel really insecure at the moment”, or, “I feel sick”, or “I need more if you want that right now”. Depending on the man, he will cave to her demands and give her more money and drive her to a score location, now, most likely a “trap house”. Once she leaves the vehicle, she will not be seen again for hours, perhaps days, depending on the amount of money given. Now the mark himself, is in the trap and some marks will wait longer than others, but to be sure, she will not be coming out of the location too soon if not at all.
If the mark consistently attempts to get this girl intimate again, she will start using lines like, “What, is that all you want me for, sex?” or “I am really not in the mood for that, but perhaps if you get me some more, I can?” or “Do you think I am a prostitute?” or “Why don’t you go get a prostitute to satisfy your needs if it is so important to you?” and on and on and on, until the mark gives in and provides her more money to get her “nice again”, or all together, pulls the plug with no contact. Depending on the smitten level of the mark, this usually is easily resolved with minimal contact from Kayra to get him back on her deceptive track, and continuing the grift of false love, and minimal contact.
In some cases, to keep a mark interested, who may be complaining about her continually asking for more money, she will get the mark to drive her to large franchise stores, to wait in the parking lot, while she steals merchandise and quickly escapes back to the mark’s car with a bag full of stolen goods, and tell the mark to hurry and drive away, destination, the local or closest pawn dealer or trap house. Yes, trap houses will also accept merchandise in exchange for the desired drug.
In any case, once Kayra is in the dealer’s abode or trap house, unless she returns promptly, the mark will remain parked, waiting for hours, depending on his patience level, and will be waiting in vain, because she will not return, or at least, not willingly. And in that case scenario she does return, after a substantial time past, and the mark is still waiting, she will just ask for more money to get more, at a different location, stating, “They ripped me off!” or, “There was a cop in the hallway of the apartment block, so I could not leave the apartment block, so I did all the drugs already.” or “What is wrong with you? I was not that long! But I got a few friends high! I need some more money.”
As you can see, no one involved with this woman remains unscathed, and she has induced a massive web of deception with different men, not to mention the deception with her family and siblings, friends, which most of them have washed their hands of her. Deception that has reached her social workers, rehab councilors, former spouse(s) and doctors trying to get her into some form of rehab, dodging certain responsibilities with any children she may have, whereby, they have most likely been removed from her custody altogether. Where will Kayra end up? It is hard to say because the person she deceives the most, is herself, and that is the only thing that will save her; is to see through her own deception and gain back control of her own life, imprisoned in the “Crack Lap Dance to Decay”.
